I purchased a bunch of Jones’ hypnosis mp3′s since he was offering everything on his site for 49 cents–normally betweem $20-$260 each! I guess I purchased more than $2500 of recordings for $7!! That should be a warning, but what the heck–$7?? I tried listening to each of the recordings but i couldn’t even finish one! A lot of his mp3′s has such a heavy echo sound that is extremely annoying. Many of the mp3′s, the content has litle to do with the mp3′s topic. The binary mp3′s seems to have more silence than audio AND Jones’ favorite therapeutic word is “good! Lots of better mp3′s available from this site’s top ten–BUT you will have to pay more than 49 cents each!!
It beats me how Steve G Jones can be so successful.I have 2 DCs and they are gross,basic rubbish. I could do better than that in my sleep!
I purchased several from prices from 75 cents to $1.00. I listened to one that was a whole hour. He didn’t go into the topic of it that much, and I guess he inserts different sentences into each recording, keeping the induction and other parts the same. It was deep relaxation and suggestions. I thought it was a great value for $1.00. I liked the music. I have gotten some from hypnosisdownloads.com too which are also good. The main difference was that the hypnosisdownloads.com ones were much shorter, were fully devoted to the subject matter, had no music, and had less of a New Agey feeling (Jones seems more commercial).
I think both approaches are good. Going deeply in, which requires a whole hour, has benefits outside of the topic itself. I feel quite exhausted today from it but that may be from my specific health condition–it shows that it affected me more than other HypD ones. But I like that the HypD ones have more words and more to think about; it’s a lighter but more varied experience. I think the Jones ones are a great value and quite terrific.
