Hypnotherapist Direct is a newer site (launched 2008) but is based on Darren Marks’ experience over many years as a practicing Hypnotherapist.

There are 30+ sessions (with plans for more) written and recorded by Marks in the areas of Self-Development, Fears, Habits, Fitness and Sexual issues.

Visually the site does not set any benchmarks, but navigation is straightforward.

Marks’ Dual Delivery – where different suggestions come in each ear of stereo headphones at almost the same time – is interesting and certainly keeps you busy paying attention to his voice. There are a couple of samples you can listen to on the site.

Hypnotherapist Direct provided two tracks for HI to review – Super Charge Your Self Esteem & Self Confidence (24:16) and Access Inner Power (21:17). The audio quality of both are great – Marks’ delivery is professional and relaxing – and background music is well chosen. The tracks start with a very relaxing induction before the focus of each track. The delivery is at a good pace, with plenty of time for relaxation and to visualize Marks’ verbal images. At the end of each track HI felt more confident, relaxed and uplifted from Marks’ guided imagery and suggestions.

Marks also offers one on one sessions at his practice.

Uniquely, Hypnotherapist Direct is planting a tree for every 10 Hypnosis CDs or MP3s sold, aiming to be carbon negative.
